Due to the variety of products, the plant has the ability to manufacture products for different applications and industries, with automotive, glass, pharmaceutical, healthcare, construction, agriculture, waste separation and reusable packaging currently occupying a major component.
The company maintains a high competitive level by improving over the years in the production of polypropylene corrugated board (PPB) products . Velplastic is the trade name and registered trademark of polypropylene corrugated board produced by Pirinplast - the only manufacturer in Bulgaria of polypropylene profiled boards.
In September 2007, the company purchased and implemented a new production line for polycarbonate sheets from the Italian company OMPIA. The expansion of the production line makes Pirinplast the only manufacturer in Bulgaria of this type of polycarbonate sheets, which have numerous applications. Carbostar matches today's needs, combining unlimited design possibilities and a number of other important advantages. It is at relatively low prices, which make it a versatile material finding application in various industries. Quality check
For us, one of the most important elements of the production process is the quality of the raw material. The plant buys raw material that complies with European standards.
The ISO 9001 quality system that the company has in place ensures that all customer requirements are met in the production process.
Technological facilities
The plant is equipped with innovative machinery that reflects the different stages of the production process.
"Pirinplast manufactures its products using three main technological methods, which are continuously being improved: extrusion; injection moulding; blow moulding.
Extrusion - apart from being the only producer of polycarbonate sheets in Bulgaria, it also produces polypropylene corrugated board and polymer mesh, which are internationally sought-after products.
Injection moulding (injection moulding) - This method produces products weighing from a few grams to 4500 grams, satisfying a wide range of consumer requirements.
Blow moulding (Blow moulding) - This method produces tubes and cans of various capacities. The main starting materials used in production are: polypropylene, high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, polystyrene.
Recycling - Pirinplast understands the need to recycle plastic and uses various recycling processes. Our main production component, polypropylene, is suitable for second use as it is 100% recyclable. At the end of the product cycle, we can buy back the customer's product to put back into production.
